St John Ambulance
$1.8 Million Ex GST
A new depot and training centre for St John Ambulance (WA). The design provides a formally ordered and well planned facility. The contemporary architectural aesthetic symbolises the new objectives, structure and culture of St John Ambulance and the commitment of its paramedics. Clearly, we also bring to the project an acknowledgment of the civic value of public architecture.
The building will accommodate 10 ambulance vehicles, 30 parking bays, and facilities for paramedics that provide meeting rooms, administration and preparation areas, dining and recreational facilities, rest rooms and ablution facilities. The training wing caters to First Aid and Volunteer Services.
This project demonstrates our capacity to design a functional, logical, building to a restricted commercial budget and also create distinctive architecture that conveys a positive, new image for this long established institution that has recently undergone a restructuring.
